The Origin Story:

Always feeling like he was destined for more, upon graduating from Bayside High he then moved to the cities of Duckberg, Gotham and Hill Valley before ending up in San Fransokoyo where he studied at the San Fransokyo Institute of Technology where he obtained his Master Builder staus. He now has married his Princess Peach and has 2 dire wolves who he adores very much.

TRANSLATION:
Vince grew up in the bay area the majority of his life. A total 80’s kid at heart who refuses to grow up. He is married to Reyna, who is a special contributor to the show. They own 2 Siberian Huskies Bishop and Rogue, who have also guest spotted on the show at times with their barks and howls in the background. When he is not geeking out watching the latest Marvel movie or “posing” aka playing with his collectable action figures you can find him behind a camera. Along with the many hats he wears, Photographer is one of them. He has always said “He grew up wanting to be Spider-man but ended up like Peter Parker.” Besides being a nerd Vince tries to complete in various races throughout the year just to make sure that all the boba he drinks doesn’t go straight to his arse. He is also a huge sports fan and follows the Warriors, Giants and Niners. When you aren’t listening to him on the show you may be able to find him roaming the latest convention floor so give him a shout and he’ll shout right back.

Origin Story:

Nikko is Southern California resident and has been for the majority of his life.  He is the cousin to Vince, the host and creator of the Keeping It Nerd Podcast.  As a child of the 80’s, Nikko was introduced to Star Wars at an early age, by his uncle, who was both a fan and collector of Star Wars memorabilia.  From that point on, Nikko became a fan of all things, “Nerd”. With comic and superhero icons edging into mainstream culture, in the early 90’s, Marvel comics became an obsession.    Nikko collected Marvel trading cards, read the comics, bought the action figures, subscribed to WIZARD magazine, and avidly watched the 90’s X-Men cartoon. Later in his teenage years, with the rise of the WWE Attitude Era, Nikko idolized and found a real life hero in the People’s Champion, the Brahma Bull, The Great One, The most electrifying man in sports entertainment, THE ROCK.  If ya smeeeeellll what I’m cookin. With the growth and rapid expansion of the internet in the early 2000’s, Nikko found an outlet to express his thoughts and ideas amongst like minded people as well as enjoy the flow of information for all topics of interest regarding movies, comics, books, TV shows, etc on forums, chatrooms, and social media. The influx of Superhero movies at that time (X-Men, Batman, and the beginning stages of the MCU) as well as the revival of the then much hyped Star Wars Prequel movies, brought Geek and Nerd Culture to the forefront of Digital Media, which only fueled Nikko’s love for everything Nerd related.  At the same time, the popularity of the Harry Potter books, drew Nikko into the world of written medium, in the form of novels. NIkko began avidly reading books of all genres including “The Hunger Games”, DaVinci Code, Ready Player One, and many more. In 2011, Nikko, Vince, and Reyna finally made it to the Mecca and Holy Land of all Geek and Nerd culture, Comic con. To this day, Nikko’s love for Geek and Nerd Culture remains just as strong as it did when he was first introduced to Star Wars as a child. As a contributor to the Keeping It Nerd Podcast, Nikko enjoys the time talking and sharing his opinions on past, present, and future “Nerd” topics.
