#23: The STAGE of the GRANDEST

Flying without their fearless leader, two of the three conquistadors take on one of their GRANDEST challenges…

On this edition, Special Contributor to Keeping It Nerd, Jeremiah Dempsey (@xjdempseyx) leads a panel of Alvin Bautista (@strong.style.ninja) and Gino Garde (@greatbamgino) of breaking down anything and everything that happened on this year’s WrestleMania Weekend. Moderated by Anthony (@murseant), the quartet of kayfabe-keepers examine the awesomeness that was NXT Takeover: New Orleans and the very long and exhausting but decent WrestleMania 34.

Special Thanks:
– Alvin and Gino for spending their night virtually with us
– Vexento (https://soundcloud.com/vexento/tracks) for the song, “All Night”.
– Ehrling (https://soundcloud.com/ehrling) for the song, “S.A.X.”
– Vince and Edwin Fabian for the promos
– As always, Evan King (http://evanking.bandcamp.com) for “Alpha Channels”, the official theme of ‘Keeping It Nerd’ heard on this and almost every episode of this very fine podcast.

#21: Grieving for Geoffrey Giraffe

The heroic trinity finally rides again!

On this edition, our heroes Vince (Twitter: @vinsanity09 / IG: @vmostajo09) and Anthony (@murseant almost anywhere) are joined by ‘Special Contributor’ Jeremiah Dempsey (@xjdempseyx on the Instagrams). Finally finding a remote podcasting solution (thanks to zoom.us), the trio get into a topic near and dear to most kids over the last 70 years–Toys “R” Us.

More specifically, the closing down of one of the biggest toy stores in the world and how it got there. This episode takes a strange left turn in the beginning, but they quickly get back on track as they pay respect to Charles Lazarus, get into the fondest childhood memories and experiences, and what was up with that ‘Haunted Lives’ (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_M8E3VAtquY) segment about the Sunnyvale, CA Toys “R” Us? (Yeah the heroes say it’s from ‘Unsolved Mysteries’ but we fact check our ish here.)

APRIL 7th is almost here.
Join “Keeping It Nerd” for their very first LIVE show on April 7, 2018 at Caffe Frascati, 315 South 1st St., San Jose, CA (literally about a block and a half from the San Jose Convention Center) during #SiliconValleyComicCon. There will be a panel, it will be fun, there’ll be giveaways, you can’t miss it.

Special Thanks:
– Tha J-Squad for the “Toys ‘R’ Us Jingle Remix”
– Mulle (https://soundcloud.com/mulleofficial) for his song, “Letting Go”
– Reyna (@reynax81) for the promos
– Evan King (https://evanking.bandcamp.com) for “Alpha Channels”, the official theme of ‘Keeping It Nerd’ heard on this and almost every episode of this very fine podcast.

#18: Whatcha Gonna Do, Brother?!?!

The newest addition to the team, Jeremiah Dempsey (@xjdempseyx), wrestles with the topics alongside Anthony (@murseant)

With Vince (@vmostajo09) going off on his own side-quest, we join Jeremiah and Anthony as they discuss the state of WWE today, becoming fans of pro wrestling, and talk about what they each are excited (or not excited) about regarding the future of McMahon’s action soap opera for dudes. Listen as they try to put each other over and prove that “the cream of the crop, oooh yeah, rises to the top!”

Special Thanks:
– Chill Carrier for the song, “80s”
– Topher Mohr and Alex Elena with “Garage”
– Reyna (@reynax81) for the promos as well as Vince
– Evan King (evanking.bandcamp.com) for “Alpha Channels”, the official theme of ‘Keeping It Nerd’ heard on this and almost every episode of this podcast
